America's Boy's

America's boy's
So young and so brave.
Taken to an early grave

We fought for you
We took a stand
For our Children's Children
We would do it again

They died in a foreign land
with a gun in their hand

We had a grip on life
in the form of a gun
Though our lives were lost
Your freedom was won

Those that pulled through
have scar's that run deep,
that look in their eyes didn't
come cheap

The look came with great sacrifice
It's called the thousand Yard Stare
It was the only way we could get through the night
But my love, you didn't put it there

America's boy's what a price to
have paid for a country who still
doesn't appreciate it today

It Don't mean 'nuthin,to us today
We fought for Honor The American way
But it's those like you who really care
That makes THIS LIFE, much easier to bear

I thank God that You understand. Boon.
